Future research and strategic technology vision in the field of hypersonic weapons

Abstract
Objective: The goal is to research the future and learn about hypersonic weapons and identify new and emerging technologies and examine the state of scientific productions in this field of technology.
Methodology: The research implementation method is statistical population analysis and library information collection. The current research is of applied and scientometric type, and scientific database analysis techniques were used in its conduct. Data and keywords related to research between 2014 and 2024 were searched and evaluated using document databases (Web of Science, Scapos, Science Direct). Vosviewer software was used to analyze the data and visualize the obtained information. The statistical population of the research is 325 scientific research articles in the field of hypersonic weapons.
Findings: The results of the survey show that the frequency and trend of publishing scientific documents in the field of hypersonic weapons is on the rise, China and the United States provide the most research and support (scholarships, joint courses, infrastructure and laboratory equipment, etc.). They have done technology in this area.
Originality: This technology allows weapons to avoid interception by advanced missile defense systems.
