Abstract
The ultimate goal of any economy is to increase the well-being of individuals through sustainable growth and development, which is impossible in the current world without regard to industry and industrialization. The development and expansion of intellectual capital in the military industries is one of the most important challenges. The intellectual capital of individuals must replace mechanical labor, and military-economic enterprises must become knowledge-based. Two main products of research and development activities in the field of military are science and technology and the establishment of a systematic relationship between the two. Establishing such a relationship at the right time can be one of the key factors in the growth and development of military industries. Today, in most countries of the world, scientific planning and policy-making has become part of the grand plans. In this research, technology and innovation are the driving force of competitiveness and growth and the importance of using and creating knowledge on long-term military-economic growth was emphasized. Accordingly, first the basic concepts of knowledge economy were discussed and then the factors affecting the knowledge economics in the field of military industries in Iran were studied. Effective parameters such as research costs, the number of students, the number of articles, the number of uses of patents by inside and outside the country and the number of startup approaches from 1993 to 2020 for Iran were examined using GLS model.
