analyzed Scientific productions in the field of cognitive warfare worldwide using a scientometric approach

Nowadays, in the techniques of scientometrics, analysis of synonyms, drawing and analyzing the network of scientific collaborations in various fields have been of interest to researchers. Because it has the ability to identify the intellectual structure of researchers in a research field. In the current research, using the scientometric approach, the process of scientific productions of researchers in the field of cognitive sciences has been investigated based on the output of articles from the web of Science website. The current research is an applied research with a scientometric approach. The statistical population of this research includes 534 documents indexed in the Web of Science in relation to cognitive warfare. VOSviewer software was used to analyze the results and draw maps. The findings of this research show that in 1976, scientific productions started with the number of 1 article, according to these findings, the years 2021 and 2022 had the highest amount of scientific productions. In the cooperation network of countries, the United States of America was identified as the most influential country by producing 160 articles. Boston University is the top university by producing 6 articles, followed by China Air Force Medical University with 4 articles in second place among all universities. Among these institutions, in the production of scientific articles, the United States Army ranks fifth. The production process in the field of cognitive warfare indicates that this emerging field in the world is in a tight competition and according to the statements of the Supreme Leader of Cognitive Sciences, it is the beginning of a revolution, it is a strategic field for defense and military organizations that needs to Policy makers and actors of the government and military sector should give importance to it and take the necessary measures to improve and advance studies in this field.
