Defense_Security Considerations Spatial Planning in Russia for its use for the Islamic Republic of Iran

One of the most important requirements of land management plans in countries is to pay attention to defense-security considerations. Due to their geopolitical position and characteristics, Russia and Iran face numerous constraints and threats, and these security concerns have led both countries to pay special attention to the above considerations in their spatial planning programs. To be. The purpose of this study is to investigate the defense-security considerations of Russia's territorial planning and their role in ensuring the national security of this country, with their practical application to the Islamic Republic of Iran based on the existing similarities and differences. This research has been done in a mixed method with a descriptive-analytical approach and using two library and field tools (interviews with five experts in related fields). The findings of this study show that land management in both countries with a high concentration of population and activities in certain areas of their territory, and this lack of dissemination, increases vulnerability to security threats. In the end, it is concluded that due to the widespread threats against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the study of the performance of countries such as Russia as a developed country with a strategic position, gaining the knowledge and experience needed in our country to develop plans.
