Abstract
Operations research is a field of research in military science that examines and evaluates methods, algorithms, and mathematical models to solve operational problems in various fields, including planning, optimization, supply chain management, and decision-making systems. This field is used to improve performance and efficiency in military and civilian operations. Operations research in military science, by using mathematical techniques and methods, helps to provide optimal and improved solutions to complex operational problems in military science. Among the issues that are investigated in this field are operational planning of military systems, supply chain management, resource allocation, transportation and transfers, equipment issues and resource organization. The use of operational research in military science leads to improved strategies and decisions, which can lead to cost reduction, improved efficiency, increased operational capability, and greater productivity in military operations. By leveraging operations research, significant improvements can be made in systems design, resource ordering, production processes, distribution, and resource management. Therefore, operations research in military science is very useful and can help improve the performance and efficiency of military forces and other related operational organizations. Examining and applying effective methods in managing military operations can also help to succeed and win in military operations.
